Noa's concert in Segesta (Sicilia, Italy)

An all known smashing hit for the long waited Segesta performance of the Israeli-Yemenite singer Noa who was brought up in the USA until the age of 17. And it was equally known that the audience would come numerous, as it carpet-covered every inch of the sapce before the Doric Temple © by Giusy Sena

Between the Temple and the audience, there she was, a spring of communicative energy, Achinoam Nini, this being her real name which means 'sister of peace'. The show starts with a rap medley of extracts from some of her recent hits, which she used and paraphrased in order to create an immediate and direct emotional contact with the spectators. "Blue touches blue", "The beauty of that", "Again and again", words repeated several times like: me, you, heart, to look at, contact, to be here. She was there indeed, and so was the audience, involved and bewitched by such extraordinary and overwhelming talent and expressive charge, never so much, though, to overshadow her grace and spiritual sensibility...
