Mamk Khadem is joined by award-winning poet Sholeh Wolpé and pianist/composer Giovanna Imbesiin, presenting songs from their upcoming album. Mamak will also present some pieces from the vast and rich regional music of Iran, and will be accompanied by Mehdi Bagheri, a young virtuoso Kamancheh player who has collaborated with masters of Iranian music, and has played in venues such as the Theatre De La Ville, Paris, and T.J. Troy, who combines an eclectic knowledge of percussion from around the world.
Opening for Mamak Khadem - Noa
Known in Israel by her given name Achinoam Nini, Noa is Israel's leading international concert and recording artist. This is an incredibly rare and special appearance by this artist and is sure to be a magical addition to the evening.
