Noa's concert in Lecce, Italy


In un momento così delicato per le relazioni tra il popolo palestinese e quello israeliano, si terrà il concerto di Noa e dei Radiodervish, gruppo italo-palestinese di cui Nabil è cantante ed autore. Il concert si svolgera' nell'imponente Basilica romanico-gotica di Santa Caterina d'Alessandria a Galatina (Lecce) e si articolerà in tre set: si alterneranno sul palco i Radiodervish (insieme al Nabil suoneranno Michele Lobaccaro e Alessandro Pipino) e Noa (accompagnata da Gil Dor e Zhoar Fresco), per concludere la serata con una session comune.

Noa awarded at Israeli Music Awards (Tamuz)


Noa has been awarded a special prize on the "Israeli Music Awards ( Tamuz)" show which was broadcast live on Israeli TV .. The award is for "Outstanding Israeli Performer Overseas", or simply, the local artist with the biggest overseas success.She also handed out the "Best Female Singer" award to Dana Berger.

Concert de NOA.
Il est 20h45, la salle est comble et quelque personnes commencent à s’agiter… Tout d’un coup les lumières s’éteignent, un projecteur baladeur fait le tour de la salle, le silence est complet ! Le spot s’arrête sur un couple, un peu excentré par rapport au milieu de la scène. La sensation est assez magique, quelques applaudissements timides brisent le silence. Ce silence est définitivement emporté par les premiers sons de la guitare et la voix qu’elle accompagne. Wow ! Pour l’énième fois je me pose la question : Comment cette petite femme peut produire un son si puissant, si pur et si mélodieux ?

New song commemorating 5 years since Itzhak Rabin's assassination

Noa and Gil Dor have written a new song to the lyrics of one of Israel's foremost poets, Nathan Yonathan, for the 5th anniversary of Israel's Prime Minister Itzhak Rabin's assassination. The song is called "Stav Biladav" (" Autumn Without Him"), and was performed for the first time on the prestigious weekly TV news show "Yoman Hashavua" ( "Weekly News Roundup") on Israel's Channel 1.

Por la paz y con voz de mujer. Varios miles de personas acudieron anoche a la plaza de Catalunya atraídos por la triple convocatoria femenina que bajo el título de "Veus per la pau convocó la V Mostra d Associacions de Catalunya."
La propuesta, en la misma línea del concierto celebrado el pasado año en el Auditori de Barcelona, tenía en este caso por protagonistas a la flamenca Mayte Martín, la argelina Hoiria Aichi y la israelí Noa.

Noa has just finished shooting a video clip of the song “Beautiful That Way” in Bergamo, Italy. The song is a vocal version of the theme song from Roberto Benigni’s Oscar-winning film “Life is Beautiful”.It was shot in various indoor and outdoor locations in Bergamo.

Noa’s “Blue Touches Blue “ Reaches Gold in Spain (August)

The first European country where “Blue Touches Blue" has reached the 80,000 units sold (gold) mark is Spain. The sales in Spain have been growing steadily, and we are looking at possible platinum status by the end of this year. Spain was part of Noa’s latest European tour, and the shows there were an immense success.

Noa has recorded a Spanish version of “Again and Again” at “Wisseloord Studios” in Holland. The Spanish lyrics were written by Raquel and Nuna Diaz Reguera. The single has been released for Spanish radio on the 22nd of August

Ci saranno artisti provenienti da ogni continente a Mundus 2000 – Linguaggi dell’identità e della differenza, la manifestazione che si svolgerà a Reggio Emilia e dintorni dal 21 giugno al 14 agosto. Il calendario comprende oltre cinquanta spettacoli allestiti nei cortili di case d’epoca, nei giardini e nelle piazze del capoluogo emiliano e dei comuni della sua provincia. A rappresentare la musica mondiale ci saranno: Noa (Israele) Salif Keita (Mali), Doudu N’Diaye Rose (Senegal), Emir Kusturica (ex Jugoslavia), Les Nubians (Francia-Camerun), Emil Zrihan (Israele), Gabi Lunca (Romania), Cherifa (Marocco), Carlos Maza (Cuba), Koryu Nishikawa (Giappone).
Mundus 2000 è organizzato da ATER (Associazione Teatri Emilia Romagna), in collaborazione con la Regione Emilia Romagna, la Provincia di Reggio Emilia e i Comuni in cui si terranno i concerti.

Noa and Nabil recieve the honorary citizenship of Melpignano (Italy) for their activity for peace


"We have a dream" said loudly Noa and Nabil holding hands in the suggestive square of Melpignano, in the heart of Salento, where the administration has conferred them the honorary citizenship. The little Leccese community wants to share the dreams of both artists, the Israeli singer Noa and the palestinian musician Nabil, busy working for peace and the cohabitation between israelis and palestinians.
